Oceana Oceanfront Condominium
Post-Litigation Advisory, Project Execution Support
EECON Engineering Services was retained by the Oceana Oceanfront Association to serve as an independent engineering and advisory resource following the conclusion of construction-related litigation affecting a two-tower, 10-story oceanfront condominium community. The Association sought objective guidance to transition from litigation recovery to the effective execution of required restoration and corrective work.
Our team was engaged to bring structure and clarity to a complex post-litigation environment by reviewing existing documentation, evaluating prior findings, and identifying gaps between legal outcomes and practical construction requirements. EECON Engineering Services worked closely with the Board of Directors and management to establish a clear, actionable path forward focused on evaluation, constructability, accountability, and long-term asset performance.
EECON Engineering Services led the development of a comprehensive RFP framework to solicit proposals from qualified outside engineering advisors for document review, existing building evaluations, and the preparation of a detailed engineering report outlining a phased restoration strategy critical to the long-term success of the Association’s assets. We also assisted in the vetting and evaluation of professional service providers, helping the Association align technical expertise, pricing, and project approach with its post-litigation objectives.
Our team met with the Board of Directors and ownership to present findings, explain the technical rationale behind the recommended strategies, and support informed decision-making. Through this engineering-led advisory process, the Association gained transparency, regained control of the project execution process, and was positioned to move forward with confidence.
EECON Engineering Services continues to serve as the Association’s Oceana Oceanfront Condominium providing construction-phase support and oversight to help ensure the approved scope is implemented in accordance with the intent of the post-litigation resolution and in the best interests of the Association.
