Landings South III
Recoating, Building Envelope
A manufacturer’s representative referred the Landings South III Association to EECON Engineering Services to develop a detailed scope of work and technical specifications for a recoating project.
During our initial site evaluation, our team identified several underlying building envelope concerns, including widespread stucco delamination, spalled concrete, and a decorative wood banding element that was in significant disrepair and required repair or replacement prior to recoating.
To support informed decision-making by the stakeholders, EECON Engineering Services developed three repair and replacement options for the wood banding system, each with a defined scope of work. We outlined performance expectations, constructability considerations, and long-term maintenance implications and presented these options to the Association for evaluation and owner voting.
Once a decision was made, EECON Engineering Services provided construction monitoring and project management to ensure the work aligned with the approved scope, specifications, and industry standards.
